What would you do if a little old lady insisted that YOU were the cashier after !
Question: ...some other employee tried to page a cashier to the department, but the lady kept pointing at me and saying, "Look....the cashier is RIGHT THERE shopping!"

i've had that happen, the poor thing had alzheimers. i ended up giving her a ride home..
Just laugh and walk away...
Tell her you only take CASH
Ignore her and leave.

You should have just told her there was no charge... and watched the drama unfold when security mowed her down in the parking lot.

Similar has happened to me. I've had people come up to me and ask where something in the store was (I wear a tie and dress shirt for work), I tell them I don't work there, and they ASK ME AGAIN ! I simply tell them-again-I don't work there and ignore them. I've people actually get mad in disbelief.
Oh Lord. I wait on old people all day long! That is SO TRUE!!!! I had one old lady today tell me that me did not have stir fry anymore (we do). I even showed her in the menu (complete with picture) and she says "NO! That's not what I want, thankyouverymuch!'

I have been too the strangest places that i would not even
think i would want to look and traveled too strange places
but when ever and if ever I never stood on line never been to
a store nor ever last minute shopped in my life
as today you pick up all you need in the computer or catch sales in a window seems i have none of these problems
i believe i have shopped for all i see and want all over the states
as when i go to look i know already what i want
