Is it evil if I take my crappy handguns down to the Gun Buyback program and buy !

Question: My city is having a gun buyback program, and they're paying more than these weapons are worth at a gun shop. Am I evil if I take them down, get my Benjamins and go buy a nice Glock with the proceeds?

P.S. The guns have no criminal history, and have been in my gun safe for a few years now except for range trips.

Absolutely not! That's not evil. If the cities are stupid enough to pay more and think that real criminals are going to turn their guns in let them. Idiots!
I would do the same but I live in the south and there no cities close by to trade in.
Plus, giving up your guns is a sin down here.
Remember, the 2nd amendment protects the 1st!

Heck no... call it UP GRADING

No, it sounds like a smart move considering the economics.
