That's how we got our best dogs when we were kids......we lived on a farm and people would drop of their unwanted dogs and cats. Every single one of them were great animals and turned out to be so very appreciative of the home we gave them.
Absolutely yes!!! If you were cold and needed a place to sleep, wouldnt you want someone to let you in.
why not? The dog can't help if he's ugly. How would you feel if you were in that position, if you was or is ugly you can't do anything but except it. I know you don't want anyone to judge you, they do automatically but you don't have to do it because two wrongs dosen't make it right. When you are different that's what makes you special.
