I see you went to Nasty's house for dinner.....poor thing....that is just one of the many...many...reasons they call her Nasty...oh well we live and learn...don't we?

i would be at my moms house

It would certainly be the LAST time I went there for a meal!

You can't ***** about it--you didn't pay for it or cook it.

Wow they gave you soda. Big spenders

lol. thats a countyry boy/girl for ya... nah just kiddin. i would only have a cola and mac n cheese, but a tiny portion of that.

eat...

food is food

slapabitch

Call my other friends and see who was having Stove Top for dinner.

I would invite them to my house and show them what a REAL meal was.

sweetpea

lol. i would think they were weird, but hey! thats all the good stuff. instant is the best

I would probly be pretty pissed! and insist we go out to eat

i'd be in the plants and leave

I'd eat.

Then again, I have never missed a meal......

eat my food and be thankful i have any to eat.

I wouldn't eat it.

Even when I was poor and lived with a buddy we'd buy a 50 pound bag of potatoes and make fries with them.

I rather eat fries.

it's the thought that counts so spread the food around the plate to make it appear that you enjoyed it and then go to McDonald's or Burger King for dinner

I would enjoy the free meal.

Consider that they may not have a huge income and may be doing the best they can. Appreciate that they offered you something. You are a guest. Be gracious.

so they are good with the microwave
everyone needs a talent oh and yes

i would eat it. Wouldnt drink the soda though i hate diet.

Next time I'd bring my own dish...or invite them to my house for a real meal.

I would prefer eating a human

i would eat it and be thankful that i had something to eat.

Where you actually invited, or did you just show up as they were slinging the slop in the troughs?

well they did what they could...give 'em a lil credit...it's the cristmas season!

I'd think that's all they could afford and be glad that I was invited to share it with them.

Its party time!

it depends. are they poor & this is the best they can offer? they want to share what little they have. it would be really rude to complain about what was served.
if they have money & are generally cheapskates, I might rethink the friendship.

I'd complain about the lack of carrot-raisin salad.

Glad I'm not your friend !

If it's a true friend the meal shouldn't be an issue, it's really pretty petty to complain about it ... if it was a true friend you'd probably know about them and their habits before you went over for a meal.

If it's just a casual friend and you're not impressed by them, I'm guessing you're all about image and not about true substance - sort of an artificial friend. You must expect the "best" when you get a present not something from the heart or the thought that counts ... spend money on me or we can't be friends..

You said if you show up - you didn't say invited for a gourmet meal.

Maybe that's not how you are ... but that would be the impression you'd leave behind. I love my true friends - instant meals, dust bunnies and her true compassionate spirit! She works hard and I'd rather share the meal above and the laughs we enjoy than worry about anything else.
