How come Blu-Ray Disc is beating HD-DVD so badly?!
Question: Blu-Ray Disc is outselling HD-DVD by 9 to 1 in Japan, 6 to 1 in Europe, and it was 2 to 1 in the US, now that Christmas has came, it's 3 to 1.
I have a HD-DVD player and I'm scared that HD-DVD will die in a year or two, and then mine will be nothing left but another Betamax that's worth a penny on eBay.
Also Blu-Ray Disc has better movies and is backed by a lot of big companies, and Disney only makes HD movies for Blu-Ray Disc, if I would of known that Blu-Ray Disc has better movies, I would of bought it earlier.

Blu-Ray holds more data, and has the potential to hold way more data. Check my source and scroll down to the comparison charts. Blu is more expensive, but like all new media they'll get cheaper. So for the short-haul, I'd put my money on Blu. Long term, I think solid-state flash memory techniques are gonna blow optical media out of the water as far as speed and capacity, so don't sweat the disc wars too much.

i'm glad to hear that considering i will be buying a PS3 someday... when it's not like $10,000... gotta get Final Fantasy XIII... i'm an addict...
