"Rashomon' is a 1951 classic from my land. It from 2 stories by Akutagawa Ryunsuke ; "Yabu no Naka' and "Rashomon". each witness tell differnt story when samurai Takehiko killed. Wife Masago say she do it. Ronin Tajomaru say he do it. Takehiko say he do it. Zen koan! Mifune Toshiro began as the ronin. Kyo Machio good as Masago.
"Gone With The Wind". It depicts a different time. Full of romance and intrigue. People can say whatever they want about Scarlett but she was a strong, stubborn woman in a time when women were considered weak and frail. In times when other people would have given up she pulled her whole family together to protect what was theirs. You've got to admire that. And it was that stubborness that kept her from the man she loved and needed. Isn't that wonderfully tragic?!!!
