Do you think Kissing is another Instinct ?!
Question: Upon thinking deeply , I found that kissing is strange !
Isn't kissing only the meet of 2 mouths with liquors swarming between the 2 gaps ... ?
but we still do it in love and lust !
p.s. I didn't kiss and don't know how it feel , but I know down deep in my heart ... I LOVE KISSING .. !

Kissing is not an instinct. An instinct is something that every human does and knows how to do without being trained.
Have you ever seen to 2 inexperienced kissers kiss? It is ugly and nasty, that means that they dont know how to do it, thus it is not an instinct.

I have been told, but haven't been able to confirm, that kissing was invented in the middle ages. And that, originally, it was a way for the lord of the house to test if the lady had been hitting the bottle while he was gone.
I do know for a fact that kissing is not an instinct, because there are many cultures that never developed it. Mostly island cultures that were isolated from the rest of mankind until very recently.
bonobos and chimps kiss other members of their groups all the time! it's used to show affection.
the mouth has long been used as a way of demonstrating emotions -- like fear and submission in primate societies.
i bet youtube has videos of ape's kissing and other facial expressions.
