Answers: When you ask a Q do you like one or two word answers or a few sentences that explain your answer? I like lotsa words myself!

Rarely a one or two word answer can be funny, but generally I like my answers to be fleshed out a bit. Far too easy to misunderstand intent with just a couple words.

Depends on the question. Sometimes I answer with one word or two, but when I feel chatty (like now) I'll atleast do a sentence or two!

One or two words..oops...I gave you 4...

It depends on the question. On Y/A, usually a one word answer

I like lottsa words too.....but most people seem to only do the one or two word answer thing.......I don't get that....'specially from women...we LOVE to talk....errr, type!

depends on the q, if it's a do i like cake q, i'll say no -one word but if it's advice seeking, I'll keep it to 5-6 lines b/c anything more, I get bored of.

i don't like "book" answers or questions.

4 me there no preference i like it all!!!

it all depends on the question being asked as to how I will answer it.

Short and succint is best. I don't much care for dissertations.

Simple answers for simple questions. No need to elaborate further.

Depends on question, but i prefer a brief synopsis, not a rambling long essay that i get bored reading, or a too short "yes" or "no" answer.

I prefer explanations. You get a better idea of that persons views and feelings with the explanation.

The more useful facts the better.

The more thoughtful a person is with their answer, the more likely I am to choose that answer as "best." I also prefer to be thoughtful with my answers wherever more insight is even an option. If I have a reason for giving an answer, I'll state it, especially if I'm speaking to matters of some of my unpopular opinions.

I have to have lots of words to explain my answer, because I have to make sure that everyone reading my answer knows in full what I am talking about!

I don`t mind, as long as it`s a decent answer, I`m happy either way!!!!!!!!=)?

uhmm.. it depends on the question. there are question that can be answerable by a yes or no. but when i ask a question i much like that it should be explain well for me to be able to understand.

I like short answers. Don't like to read a book to get the point.

I'm with you - I like lots of words. If it's a one word answer it feels like the person is just answering for the points. (Unless I asked a yes or no question!) The more words or explanation, the easier it is to choose a best answer to my question because I get a better feel of where the person is coming from.

i prefer 1 sentence. (2 at the most)

answer in few sentinces
