Bigfoot/Sasquatch????!
Question: OK, this is the thing:
The other night I was watching a TV show on Discovery channel about people trying to prove there is a Bigfoot. I have lived in the Pacific NW my whole life and I find the whole story amusing. In fact, when I was a kid, I had (and still do have, come to think of it) my older brother convinced that he found "Bigfoot hair" on a barbed wire fence near our woods. I just pulled out some of Barbie's friend Skipper's hair and planted it there. Ah. Good times. good times.
Anyhoo...I was laughing at these people on TV rather heartily and my hubby got upset. It seems he REALLY believes there is a Bigfoot, but has never told me as I think it is such a joke. I got to thinking...he is quite smart and he has bought into it, there MUST be other smart people who actually believe in it, too.
Do YOU believe in Bigfoot (or Sasquatch or The Yeti of the Andes?) or do you think it is a hoax of global proportions like I do?

I believe in Sasquatch, he's doing commercials, got his own website, next week I think he's on Leno.

I want not to fully believe in it, because how can an animal thing that is so publicized be so hard to get evidence from? But that would be kinda freaky if there really was such a thing.
Yes I do believe that an apelike creature exists in many parts of the world. Just because you have never seen something does not mean it doesn't exist.

No I don't! It's the product of someones big night out on the booze. There's some idiot here in Australia always trying to convince us there's a 'yowie' out there in the bush. I think they all need to see their analyst, including your husband.
I'm not sure if i believe in Bigfoot or not, but it seems to be too much of a coincidence that all over the world and in history people have stories of the creature. I totally do NOT believe in it being a world hoax. Someone would have slipped up by now. A world hoax is just that, a hoax.
