I never digushted it but I always tasted and smelled it, I like the salty stinging taste!!! lol. I rember it like it was yesterday!!!
They formulated it as non-toxic, specifically so kids wouldn't croak if they ate it.
Personally, the smell of playdo never inspired me to eat it. I did eat my own booger one time when I was in kindergarten though because I saw some other kid do it and wanted to know what that was all about. Glad I didn't pick up the habit though. ICK!

that depends on what age you mean "by as a kid" because technically yes i did when i was about 4 or 5 and to this day i can't help but eat the blue clay goodness that is play doh..........

I used to eat it! I also made the mudpie thing, and a bat wing stew ( made out of leaves, bug spray, etc.)
ya me 2...it was really nasty! but somehow i tasted it a second time to make sure on how it tasted but it tasted nasty so i never tried it again! lol

oooooo play dough!! i loved it when i was a kid. the smell was good and i wanted to eat it but my mom caught me. i had the dough like an inch away from my mouth but my mom swatted it out of my hand and she was like scolding me. i was like five. i am now 13 and i still wonder what the play dough tastes like cuz my mom never let me eat it.
