Have you ever given or received this kind of gift before...?!

Question: How did or would it make you feel to get a Chia Pet?

Answers: How did or would it make you feel to get a Chia Pet?

I gave one to my son who requested one. I'd never give one otherwise! If I received one, I'd feel pretty bad - like I'd been punched in the stomach!

warm and fuzzy.

I have always wanted a Chia Pet but no one ever bought one for me.

I gave my mom one once but it died because she didn't water it......

lol. my older sis gave me one for my last b-day. i thought it was funny. it was more of a joke gift.

thoes are stupid little things

whats a chia pet???

no thanks...i did get one when i was like 15 and thought is was so impersonal....give me money anytime...No Chhachia

I'd love a Chia Pet! They're so cute! I'm telling my friends i want one for Christmas now, thanks! =]

I think they are neat...never have gotten one or gave one as a gift. but I would love to have one only...don't ask me why I would like one....Cha Cha Cha Chia

Opening my chia pet was the most amazing and sensational moment I have ever experienced in my life.

I would accept it graciously, but inside, I would be like "ummm, I would have preferred some wash rags!"

Itchy...

I have never gotten one, but at least I would know that someone cares enough to buy me a chia pet.

I guess.

aww shucks buddy *straightens glasses* thanks, but next time..cans i get Star Wars?

I got one about 10~15 years ago.
It's still in the box.

Yeah well it's the thought.

No I haven't given or received such a gift.. I guess it would be an okay gift...

Not trying to score any points here.. just being honest.. I really like your avatar!

I have never been a real fan of the Chia Pets, but I know that some people collect them. I guess the answer to receiving one is that I would be really disappointed. If I was younger, I think it would be kind of fun, but nothing really revolutionary. It would also depend on the age of the person and if they liked growing things. Just get them something that you know that they like, that is the easies thing. If you buy something that you don't know if they would like, you are wasting a nice Christmas gift that you could have gotten them.

don't know never heard of it

I would find it hilarious and be very amused. I would enjoy it, because I like gifts that are quirky and funny. However, if I gave one to my parents, they would think it was weird. "Know your gift recipient before giving Chia", is the moral here.

The "giver" would be wearing it home as a rectal suppository!

It's amazing how that thing is still around after so many decades now. I think they are popular because people get to see things growing like magic.
