My allergy medicine does this to me regularly!
I often accuse my husband cats of using my open mouth as a litter box during the night.......cause it is just one nasty mess until I get to my toothbrush!

Happens nearly every morning and it's driving me mad. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with it as dry as a bone. I have to have a drink next to the bed.

yes.. the past two mornings in a row.. it wasn't even morning yet actually, in the middle of the night, right outta my sleep..
it's gross.. especially when you forgot to put the water in the fridge, so the only thing to drink is WARM water.. ughh
lol..like GEM said, it usually happens when i take a benadryl for my allergies, or if it's extremely hot in my room. matter of fact it happened last night..my room was on fire, i woke up and my mouth was dry as shyt..i had to get up and get some water...
