yes it is. Time is moving faster because we are moving faster. Not literally but as you age your mind is now more aware of things because your thalamus in your brain has matured and now memories are more vivid. So as a child it isn't totally mature (your thalamus) so things are slow and move at a snails pace.

you tell me

youre spinning around

yes it is the quickening before the end on 12-21-2012

If you want the world to stop spinning, you have to stop spinning with it.

Stand still for a moment, then decide if you still need that hug.

Sounds like you are spinning out of control!

If you're talking about time in general...I have a theory =P

When you're 5 years old, a year represents 20% of your life - it's a long time.

When you're 20, a year represents 5% of your life - seems to move pretty quick!

When you're 50, a year represents 2% of your life - wth was that blur that just occurred??

If you have severe anxiety it will seem like your living your life in fast forward. That's how I felt before the meds slowed me down, thank heaven.

It's speeding up because we're getting older and because technology has got us inundated with too much info; the need to always be in contact with people. There's less down time.

Everything's speeding up. Trust me on this one.

doesnt seem to most folks to be true , their may be some that disagree . i have heard this though that time really is passing by quicker by those thattrack the world clock, itappears to be moving at a faster pace,,
maybe it has to deal with biblical prophecies that states in the last days things would move quicker .. it is a thought though worth remembering>?? you decide for yourself .. mj

is the room still moving? Stop drinking.

I think it is a combination of things - as we grow older time does seem to compress and things appear to speed up.

However, I have to concur with the answer about time actually speeding up - time after all is not as we perceive it to be - it is a limitation of our perception that we "move" through time.

All time is actually "present" but we can perceive only the instant that is "now" (and of course we remember some of the "nows' that happened "before").

If we had the perceptual abilities of a god we would see time like a tree, with all possible realities resulting from quantum events continually branching off in all directions.

Back to the speeding up theme - it does seem as if we are moving more quickly along these branches, and that may have some relationship to the ending of this cosmic cycle.
