I hate to admit it, but I get jealous sometimes when I look around and see couples that are so happy. I wish I could have someone to care for me like too. I know it's selfish, but I can't help it.
This past July, I decided to give myself a good year. I know you can't time things, but if it comes along right now or any time soon, I'm going to say that I'm not ready yet. I'm too emotionally exhausted from the last relationship because he was verbally abusive and manipulative. I'm trying to get back to where I was earlier this year, and when I feel like I've accomplished what I want to accomplished, I'll be ready.... not ready to run... but with my heart open again.

Almost. I am transferring to a new position on Monday that will stabilize my career. After I settle in there, I will begin looking for a new home for me and my children. Then I should be ready. Probably around the first of the year.
