It was better than I thought. Alan Cumming made the show. If it wasn't for him it would have been horrible. It's always nice to see a twist on a story you grew up with.
For those that said they wanted to see it, the Sci-Fi channel will be rerunning it over the next couple of weeks. I think it will be on Sunday starting at 5pm. But check your listings.

Ok I started watching it, but it was too far out there for me. I am not a big Sci-Fi fan, but my husband is and he watched the entire thing. He thought it was pretty good.
I wanted to watch that with my Son but I forgot all about it.
I liked it. It wasn't as good as I would have hoped but I love Zooey Deschanel. I just wish they would have written a more intersting charcter for her. She is a great actress with great comedic timing - it could have been a really fun role. D.G. was a little sappy and weak for my tastes. But overall I think it was okay. I missed bits and pieces of it, so I'm glad they're re-airing the entire series back-to-back this upcoming Sunday.
I thought all the twists from the original were great. All the characters were there but different.
I loved who was protecting the emerald. Now that was a great twist.
