How do u.........???!

Question: comfort someone who is grieving????

Answers: comfort someone who is grieving????

IT MIGHT BE BEST TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE GRIEVING ABOUT BEFORE APPLYING A METHOD OF COMFORT. MANY TIMES JUST YOUR PRESENCE ALONE WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING IS VERY COMFORTING. IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS GRIEVING AND YOU VISIT THEM MAYBE IT WOULD WORK IF YOU STARTED BAWLING AND CRYING TOO AND EVEN MORE SO THAN THEY ARE . THEN THEY WOULD COME OVER AND COMFORT YOU AND TAKE THEIR MIND OFF THEIR OWN GRIEF. VERY TRICKY!!!!!!!!

I usually tell 'em to suck it up.......course be advised this doesn't always work too well......

just be there for them...and give them anything they need...sometimes u dont even need to talk to them...just hug them and hold them...and let them vent...let them get everything out on the table

however i can, with a shoulder or anything else that will help!

Just be there. Just listen and say if anything that you are so sorry and you are there to listen.

I give them a shoulder to cry on. And the rest depends on the situation..if its a death, a breakup, whatever...

just let them know you are there for them

and give them plenty of hugs:)

I share me rum with them.

depends if its a female friend I would listen to them talk take them out for dinner and just pretty much be there for them when/if they needed Guys they are different just be there for them

i'm not good at that but i'd be there if they need someone.

There is not any way you can help a person who is grieving, sometimes you have to give the person time alone, and just talk about stuff to get her/his mind of things. You can be there but only God will help during this time of grieving!

I slap them and say, "Snap out of it"!

Nahhhhh...kidding!

I'd let them know
that I am there for them
if they need to talk.

be there if they want and listen and talk of good times

i'm ur shoulder to cry on...

n later, find others to cry on...LOL

with great difficulty

c'mon...sometimes words cannot suffice...HUG HUG HUG....as tight and as long as you want =)
