Question: My husband. Before we were married, he was very shy and not too talkative. Now he is guy that people come to for advice and counsel...he tells me its because I brought that out in him.
My foster daughter. She didn't have a very good homelife and I think things are alot better for her here. I strive very hard to provide her with a good family environment and help her to succeed in everything she does.
A guy named Ryan. One night about 6 years ago, while sitting on the computer, he randomly IMed me and started talking to me about his plans to commit suicide. He didn't know that 4 months before that, my own brother had taken his own life. With the hurt and knowledge of what had happened to my own family, I spent 4 hours online with him talking about how much everyone around him would miss him and that he was more important then he realized. He's told me several times that I saved his life that night..and 2 years later, I drove 3 hours to see this kid walk down and accept his diploma as he graduated High School.
