Does money equal happiness.....?!

Question: I say this because with money there is no bill worries, nice clothing, food on the table, vacations when you are stressed, and living a simple life.
You can also help people in need because you are blessed financially. I know money doesn't equal joy always but better to be sad and rich than sad and poor.

Questions. .. In what way would money make you happier?
Do you feel that money isn't always needed to be happy?

Money is needed to survive. Money would give me security, ability to travel, college for my son and I could stay home with my 6 month old instead of putting him in daycare.

I would love to find out. I know that most marriages that end in divorce do because of financial problems. I think that a certain amount of MONEY not STUFF is necessary for happiness. Problem is people get into so much trying to acquire stuff.

It might not be the panacea for all troubles but Money will make life easier and hopefully happier.

No, but it can make life more liveable

This is America.
Need I say more?

my little nephew put this to me one day,he told me i was rich,i said i wish i was,he then replied but you are,you are rich in happiness xxx

if you use it correctly like you stated, then yes, maybe it does.

but in most cases, people with alot of money don't put it into good things and just get into trouble.
alot of times poor people are happier than the super rich.

somtimes.... i can buy u a big house and a lota cars nd other toys, but it cnt buy a family or friends wich are more important than anything money can buy..

money sure would help
not 5 dollars
just a few million
whoo hoo
maybe you can't buy happiness, but I'd try

Have you seen the shows about the lottery winners? Many of them had lots of problems. I truly agree with what the late Biggie Smalls said "mo money mo problems", and unfortunately the problems are usually other people.

Money. the root of all evil.....believe it!!!!

putting all your money into the church offering is a joy!

money does not equal happiness.
your problems would only be different.
having a job you like and/or doing what you like brings happiness.

Money can buy many many things and it can certainly make life alot easier on you! I have an awesome house on 15 acres with 15 horses and dogs. I have nice furniture, lots of food, and an awesome hubby and son. BUT I would rather live in a dog house with someone I love than live in a mansion and be miserable and not loved for who Iam. Know what I mean? Thanksfully I do have the best of both of these things so Im extremely happy.

I would say for people that HAVE been dead *** broke in the past; that YES, it can! They KNOW what it's like not to have the basics, or what alot of us call the "Basics" and when those needs are no longer a struggle; than there's more time to think about other things; and when the burdon of the daily survival is taken away; then thoughts turn to the pursuit of happiness.. Siver Spooner's seem, by large, to have troube with that; NOT knowing what it's like to worry about the power getting cut off, or not having enough money to feed your family or yourself for that matter; they tend to take everything for granted; and they are the first to jump up and say "Money can't buy you happiness". Well, maybe it can't, but it sure is a good place to start!

Money doesn't always equal happiness. But it sure relieves alot of stress and worries. To me, the things that equal happiness is health and love.

"Money can't but happiness, but it's a damn good down payment."

More money right now would make me happier because that would give me the opportunity to move into a house and support my son a little better. Not saying that I can't support him at all, I just want to shower him every chance I can. More money will mean more trips, more clothes & shoes. Having all of the money in the world doesn't bring you happiness at the end of the day. After shopping and everything else, at night, Im sure it would be lonely. You need some one to share your life with. Having my my son and my bf by myside every corner I turn, is a sure blessing to me. Money could never replace that!

no
