When they cancel the school buses but the schools are still open do you take you!
Question: Here they don't close the schools due to weather. But the unwritten rule is pretty much "No buses, no school." My brother didn't go to school today because of it. *I* however, have to leave in about 20 minutes because *I* am in university and the city buses ALWAYS run no matter what. So I have no excuse : (

if the school buses can't run here, the schools won't be open.

They don't do that here...no busses, no school...
and no I wouldn't, i'd have to be late to work and leave early at that point, i might as well stay home and take the bugger to the movies instead
Well i dont have any kids but usually my Mother would let me stay home...but they never cancel the buses if their is school
lol. i don't go to school. the only reason im home right now is that its a snow day. :)
I have never had that situation, its the bus drivers that decide if they feel safe to drive our children, so if the buses don't run the schools around here close.
I would think the buses would be canceled when the school is canceled..but if I had a choice, yep I would take him and pick him up.
Yes I take them. I have 3 boys who are 5, 4 and 3. Lol....mommy needs a break so its off to school they'll go.
That's never happened here. If the busses can't run then they close the schools.
here if the buses don't run, school is canceled. BUT sometimes the buses are on a 2 hr delay. (don't ask me why) if that happens i would take my kids to school.
(thank goodness i don't have to worry about that anymore)
Where do you live? The only time school buses are cancelled here is when school is closed, and school will only close because of a blizzard. It's pretty easy to tell if the weather is so bad that school will be closed.

if the school cancels the buses here, the schools are also closed.
