What really ticks you off?!
Question: The haters on my staff.
*The P.E. dept at my school has got to be the LAZIEST collection of slackers I've ever seen.
**Half of the period (one hour) is spent with the students sitting in neat rows while the teachers are gossiping/yakking on their cellphones.
**The rest of the time is spent as if the class was a "recreation" period instead of an actual class.
I did my own thing when I was there:
**1.5 miles per day (timed).
**Two sets of stadium stairs per day (the class had to beat MY time).
**Actual instruction in a variety of sports.
They tried to get me fired/demoted with slanderous allegations:
**I did not work my students enough (??)
**I was not a "team player".
**I was not qualified to teach P.E., because I did not play college sports (I did ...).
The administration came out to my classes and ignored the slackers' allegations.
The Board of Education received complaints about the other teachers (the gossipping/in-class cellphone usage/wasted time issues ...), but the administration here refused to do anything about it.
My students continually outperformed the rest of the P.E. classes in state-mandated testing.
I was transferred back into classroom teaching after four years.
The staff continues to badmouth me, however (their students continue to update me ...).

Ya know what really grinds my gears... jerks on Y/A. Have I oppressed you (Y/A Jerks) by asking my question? Why did you ask the question if you couldn't handle the real answer? Are you going to cry again because I gave you a thumbs down? Well, maybe you're just not welcome here because I have questions to ask and answers to give. So if you don't like that, I suggest you find yourself another section because I love avatar games, I hate the violation "chatting", and I don't want to have to open another account because of violations!
