when all the kids lived at home I did 10 loads per day as I had 11 kids.I have gone through many washing machines in my time.But sometimes I do 25 right now.

But I'm kinder... I take my unmentionables down to the river and beat them on the stones until they're clean, or I fall in or all the fish jump out the water in protest!
Living in an urban area, I use the fluff & fold service at the laundromat! Once my laundry bag is full, I haul it down there. The big one weighs about 25 lbs. when full, the little one, about 15. Only the laundromat employees can say for sure how many loads that might be!

Don't laugh, GEM. I do the laundry around here. I also run a lot of other things too, (appliances, etc). I usually do one small load a day. My daughter comes over on the weekend to do hers. She usually has three LARGE loads. They don't have a laundry yet, so we are offering to let her use ours until they get settled. What are parents for!!!LOL
