My mom used to say "live and be happy with whatever u have....don't compare u with others.....pray daily.......respect elders"
Now she is no more........but I'm trying to follow these even though some times its difficult for me........

From when I was a todler, they told me to work hard at everything I do. I have taken that to heart.
I have not been living up to that peice of advice but I now think it is time to show my real powers.

I was going away from home for the first time, my dad pulled me and said "I trust you judgment so won't be giving you any advice so all i can say now is I love you and good luck" . That word was the most powerful & empowering word i've ever been told. That made me so grown up and wise - Thank U dad!!!!!

Never drink out of someone elses cup,always wear clean undies,listen to your elders(I sure know that now) and go to school.
They've told me a lot of things... but I think one of the best pieces of advice they've given to me is to "always try your best in everything you do". ^_^
