Question: Magic Johnson's confession, stopped me in my tracks, way back yonder. How about you??

Answers: Magic Johnson's confession, stopped me in my tracks, way back yonder. How about you??

Lost my son to AIDS in 1991. It was hard to deal with. I think it has made me more compassonate toward others.

well, I've never been a free loving hippie, but condoms aint all that bad.

No I dont think so. I am still the same person

Of course, frightening prospect contracting a disease that has no cure.

In my last year of high school I wanted to have sex withmy boyfriend but he doesnt like hospitals so he didnt want to get tested. I was taking health at the time and I had done so much research on AIDS and other STD's (STI"s) that I just broke up with him. I make sure everyone is tested before any sexual incounter and I still use condoms.

I love my life too much to live it sick or to have it cut short!

It makes me think twice about who I lay with. But I think Magic Johnson is part of the problem, but not by his own doing. People see he has lived for so long and not developed AIDS that it's not a big deal. People fail to realize he has loads of money to pay for cutting edge medications that normal people don't have access to. So HIV/AIDS is still a very serious thing and should not be taken lightly.

Loving hasn't changed; sex has - and how people regard sex.

If you think about it, even without AIDS, you place your life in someone else's hands every time you have sex. Think about the physical vulnerability of the positions to both parties.
