Answers: are breathing? Why or why not?
Not so much for me~

oh my sister you do not feel Christmas in the air because it is the season of Advent it is a time to wait and listen.

If you are a Christian Advent can mean that it is about the church and christ and advent was the last season to be officially added to the church calendar, in about 600 AD. It was made the first season of the church year because it begins the story of the events of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.

Advent always includes four Sundays before Christmas, this year (2007) beginning on December 2, 2007. Originally, in the Eastern Church, Advent focused on the first Coming at the Nativity, the future Coming at the end of time, and the present coming, through grace, to the hearts of humans.

Thus the themes of consciousness of the coming judgment and of joyful expectation have shaped our observance of Advent for centuries. The Advent wreath candles, symbolizing the coming of the Light of the world, are to remind us of these themes. It has often been customary to have one rose-colored candle to symbolize joyful expectation.

Advent is a time of spiritual preparation, but is not as penitential a season as Lent. It is a time for calm and thoughtfulness before the hustle and bustle of preparation for Christmas.

And if you are not a Christian you can take a couple of weeks to chill out and not buy into the buying enjoy and reflect on who you are and what you want for your self and the world.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

hard to understand sorry.

ohh just thought that was pollution...

yes

YES!! and I love it!

that's the air freshener in my Volare

not so much for me. been a difficult year in some ways. been the best of times and the worst of times.

Yes & No, Yes, I love the holiday and everything about it but No, because I won't be spending it with who I want to this year...

Not yet! I'm waiting.

I think there is.

It does feel like Christmas! I love it!!

feeling of Christmas? it's hard in Florida with the sun and warmth, but I'm still looking forward to it.

Yes i love Chrsitmas and can't wait til this time of year! I can just hear the crunching of the ripped gift wrap and sound of laughter tears when someone loves your gift! i love it whenever I can help someone or make them happy!

I get a happy feeling when my tree is lit up and all the outside Christmas lights are on.

not really, umm there is a feeling of "love is in the air>. i need to lay with me!bonny~lass"...

Yes. Because I have a 9 year old boy who is excited and a 6 month old girl who is in awe of all the Christmas lights. My kids make me in the spirit. Not in the commercialism of it all but in the beauty, wonder, and simplicity of the season.

Yes! I am feeling the spirit of Christmas! Its everywhere I go and all so caught up in it, together with the holidays! A very busy week ahead for me. :)

I am sitting here at work listening to Christmas music and it is snowing. Right now yes, probably not so much next week when it will be raining. I am going to put up our tree though, so maybe it will feel more like Christmas.

Christmas is and has been for a number of years very depressing for me.

The 1st Dec is Day 1 for me, but they are very shallow breaths for me at present.

personally yes. but, many people do not put up lights anymore
and everything says happy holidays and not merry christmas

You create your own Christmas spirit. Hang around some little kids and they will jump start the "spirit".

50/50. Sometimes I am in the Christmas spirit, other times I'm not!

Yes,it's finally giving us a great big snowfall, and is my usual Christmas setup weekend. : )
