How do I erase something from autofill?!
Question: How can I erase something from the auto fill on my computer? Like when you go to type the first letter of something and it fills in the rest for you? I was on a site for x-mas and want to cover my tracks.

just go to tools-settings-erase history- and then click clear forms and passwords...

What site was it?
Go to setting, on your start button, the go to control panel, go to Internet options, then go to Temporary Internet Files, and clear the cookies and files, then go to History and delete it, this should work :)

Depending on what browser you are using, there are different ways to do this.
Firefox: Go to Tools > Options. Then under the Privacy tab there's "Private Data". Check the box "Always clear my private data when I exit Firefox". Make sure that under "Settings" that everything you want cleared is checked. Once you have done that either exit Firefox or click the "Clear Now" button.
IE: Go to Tools > Internet Options. Under the "Content" tab there's a section called "Personal Information" where you can find the AutoComplete options. Hit "AutoComplete" and uncheck the appropriate boxes, then you can hit the "Clear Forms" button to immediately do so.
Removing Auto-Fill Options in Internet Explorer
In the Internet Explorer browser, all you need to do is:
Double-click in the text field so the drop-down box of auto-fill options appears.
Hold your mouse over the option that you want to remove from auto-fill so that it's highlighted. Don't click on it.
Press your delete key. The option should be deleted from your auto-fill.
