Maybe they are trying to give you more responsibility or your own space, but to me it would depend if I would be able to take care of it financially with out it putting me into a bind. There are different aspects of the situation you would want to look at. Is it some where you really want to stay? Do you like the location and neighors? Can I afford it? Will I be happy? GOOD LUCK

I would think that they are asking you for your opinion if they are looking at something new or setting up their will dependent how old they are.
