in the bathroom and kitchen, so my eyes don't get bombarded by turning on a regular light in the middle of the night.
No, but I do leave the door cracked so my cats can come in at night, and we leave a hall light on in case any of the kids can see to go to the bathroom, so in a way it's like a nightlight. LOL!

I have 2. One in the kids room and one in the bathroom. I feel comfortable with it as well. I'm not afraid of the dark, but it's comforting.
