How come they don't add the time that we are in our mom's to our age?!

it wouldn't be fair since every infant doesn't go to full term. You know how many different ages we would have?
Because technically, you were not born yet. they don't count you born until you POP out.
I have often wondered that myself. You are physically approximately 9 months old when born.
Also, when a baby currently celebrates their first birthday, it means they have COMPLETED one year and entering the second. So, are they one when they are born or one at the end of the first year??????

Seems my civics teacher in high school said in some cultures you are one yr old when born, that's pretty close. Wait a minute, maybe that's how some countries gain points on longevity......hmmmm
....When we are in our mother's woumb we are not individuals yet..As you may know ..we are still connected to our mother's uterus and can only be considered as an extension of her body part as we dont have an independent existence...we are not formed into a complete Human being......We attain individuality only when all the organs are fully developed and we are completely separated from our mother's body by cutting the Umbelical cord.....Age is counted for an individual and we attain this individuality only after our birth...Thus our age is counted only after our birth.......There are cultures in which age is calculated from the day of conception itself but I don't agree to it..
