How many people are planning on skipping Christmas?!

Question: I know I'm not hanging up any lights or putting up trees. The only thing I'm doing is a cheap gift exchange with co-workers. I'm not anti-Christmas, I just don't live anywhere nearby family members anymore, so I usually just treat Christmas like any other normal day. Anyone else doing the same?

Well since it is just me and my mom now. And she don't come over for Christmas to my apartment. I'm not putting up anything either. As for gift exchange she gives me a card with money in it. I rather get a gift to open. And when I ask her what she wants she just tells me to get her a few bottles of laundry detergent. HA. Merry Christmas huh?

Thanks for best answer. That is the way it has been for me since my dad passed away in 1979. It's like why even bother putting anything up if no one is going to see it? Or no gifts will be put under the tree. Oh well. I'm thinking of going away somewhere. Report It
