damn, i'm with you on that one. i can't stand it when people don't give you straight answers. dammit, it's either yes or no!!! but, i have a pretty short fuse, so i usally say something i shouldn't have to get the response i'm looking for.

When I'm not sure - sorry, but those words had to be used in this case. If someone asks me if I support stem cell research and I don't know enough about it, I might say "I'm not sure" or if someone asks me about if a PR electoral system would be better and if I was ignorant about electoral systems, I'd say "Maybe it's a good idea to have it here " (just based on what I know). Fence-sitting is when I haven't enough information to make a good decision or the evidence doesn't lead to a conclusion; rash and abrasive is almost as bad as being indifferent in terms of consequence
