Question: Don't you think that its wrong when people criticize Smokers, If it were another addiction like 'food' no one whould say anything?
For Example:
Your out to lunch with some people and someone says to the smoker, "wow, you should really quit smoking those cancer sticks! They are so unhealthy. It will kill you one day"
But if someone had bad eating habbits no one whould say a word. For Example:
Same situation, but a fat person orders the Chicken Finger Basket, Onion Rings, and Ex. Mayo on their Burger. No one whoud say, "Hey you really shouldn't eat that much, that stuff will kill you one day"

You're wrong Lil Birdy! I get criticized for what I eat every single flippin day. I don't get it either, who says 2 pudding cups, a peanut butter and marshmallow cream sandwich and a box of milk duds isn't a healthy lunch?
Further example: "you know, you should really stop using Polls and Surveys. It will turn you insane one day".
Haha, right. We should be as harsh to fat people as we are to smokers! I doubt it would help though. Fat people rarely stop being fat.
If i were a smoker and sombody said that to me I'd say "WOW medding in a strangers business is really bad for you, they could be out of their mind and packing heat"
It pisses me off... I don't smoke around non-smokers, I don't blow it in people's faces, and I am fully aware of the danger. My mom's a nurse and tells me every chance she gets... along with every single one of my non-smoker friends. I know, people. I may not be smart enough to quit, but I'm not so dumb as to not know the consequences. Wow... am I ranting?! LOL!
I agree; i'm not a smoker but if someone is i don't care. Here smoking was just banned in all public places and i think it is bullsh!t. Granted I enjoy the bars more being smoke-free but I really don't think it is right to control it that much.
Right on.....leave us smokers alone..how about drinking and driving that kills people just the same as ciggies...right? So ban the booze...Right?

Hey, if you wanna smoke, it's your business... It's the second hand smoke that bothers me.
You can't kill me with the extra mayo you eat, but you can with that smoke you blow out.

Well, fat people rarely emit smoke. So why should I bother.
Every one has some kind of fault that they could be judged on. I have many of my own... therefore I will not judge others. I do think it is unfair to single out a certain group of people.
THANK YOU i get that all the time. you should stop smoking it'll kill you blah blah blah. it makes me just want to smoke more. if i were ready i would quit i'm not going to quit because you say so. i don't go around and tell people they shouldn't drink because it'll kill them. in arizona we already have such strict smoking laws you can't even smoke in bars. and you have to stand 20 feet from an entrance to a building.
there are some really outspoken people that owuld say that to a fat person!!!! I agree to each his own, we obviously know our poor decisions are going to catch up with us one day...
