My niece is bi-polar and takes medication. She has a host of other illnesses as well but remarkably got a college degree. She is too sick to hold a job unfortunately. And a little guy down the street is no only bi-polar, he also has Asberger's Syndrome (like autism) but has been mainstreamed into kindergarten. And my son, while not diagnosed with anything more than depression takes meds for that.
Yup, I do, I have to take medication for it...no, I am not crazy, I have a chemical imbalance and the meds just equal it out so I feel better...

My MIL has severe borderline personality disorder....
I'm bipolar, my father was a psychopath, my grandmother has severe narccisism to the point of needing treatment for it ... my niece is so bipolar she can't function ... My mom is depressed and litterally insane
