Me too, but as for the cold, you can't beat a hot toddy, because if nothing else, you go to bed in a lovely haze and hopefully have a great sleep. I think it has been proven over the years that no remedy wipes out the common cold, so its a matter of just taking time off work, cosying up to the telly, books, magazines, and make everyone aware that you have FLU at the least, a couple of toddies at night, and you may not want to get better!! Having lived in Scotland for 24 years some time ago, I would say try a wee dram. It cures anything and you feel a whole lot better.
