Real LOVE is one thing that in no way shape or form can be imitated.
When two people who are MEANT to be together meet each other whether it be via snail mail, internet or phone then in that case there is no division between LOVE. Who was it that said "LOVE will find a way." it may even be a variation of Jeff Goldblums infamous quote in "Jurassic Park" when he rightly said "Life will find a way."
I myself do believe in REAL LOVE. LOVE thats MEANT to be at the end of the day it doesnt really matter when or where SOULMATES meet the important and most overriding factor is that with them its real LOVE.
There will of course be those who see the other side of the coin and dont believe but hey thats only human nature and as such represents the world as a whole. But I know of many people who have met via the (as some would say) non conventional ways.

yeah because sometimes you get to know the real person before seeing what they look like and liking them for looks, i personally think sometimes its better that way

In theory you could because I would think REAL love is based more on conversation and communication... unless you fall in love with a profile picture or something (which may very well turn out to be fake).

Now considering falling in love comes on your end, you can fall in love with anything. Whether it will work, remains to be seen. It's very difficult to get it to work, but not impossible.
i think and believe that anything is possible.....why can't one fall in love with someone by just talking to him/her?? isn't that what happened on "You've Got Mail"? think about it...she feel in love with who she thought he was...just the idea of who the man was.....kinda strange, but love does work that way!

I am not sure about that..but I do strongly believe that people fall in love with the idea of being in love ..and sometimes another person just has the right words and you want it so bad that you will fool yourself into thinking your in love but your not..your just in love with the idea that this could be that fairytale love.However..I have also learned in my days that anything is possible..and we all have soul mates out there ..and if one should find you through letters then why not! : ) good luck
I know it's possible you can develop a love for someone you haven't met without ever meeting them; falling in love, I don't know, but I would have to say it's possible, because I can't say it's not.

No. People can make themselves sound like the BEST PERSON in the world through letters, Internet, and the phone. My husband is in the military, and when he goes on6 month deployments, our only means of communication are through emails.... we get along GREAT!!!! But, then he comes home. hahaha! And we have 11 years of being together and being in love behind us. You CAN'T fully know someone until you spend many, many years in person with them.... therefore, you can't be in love.
Of course it's possible! When two minds meet and the effect is a powerful one, it's natural for your feelings to go to the next level.
You know, as little as a few weeks ago I did not think it was possible. And I still don't think you can truly feel wholly in love with someone you've never met. But you can absolutely start to fall in love.
