Unfortunately, I'm a native Californian, and I cannot stop myself using the word, "like" or saying something and making it sound like a question. The word, "perhaps" - I like that as well. You should use it in real life! Get a Roget's Thesaurus and you will have so much fun looking up different words! That's what I do. My favorite phrase is probably, "Can you IMAGINE?"
In a lot of situations I always say "Unbelievable" for some reason.

My biggest habit that people yell at me for all the time is "dude". I don't know why, but it just sorta stuck with me when I took on saying that for a bet. I got some money for it. it just cost me my braincells for every time i get slapped for saying it!
