IMO XMAS EVE is irrelevant to this question. Most people care about someone or something most days, even if it is only themselves. So yes is the only logical answer, unless you spend every XMAS EVE meditating or something like that.
Just 2 years ago, my first niece was born and everyone was home again. It hadn't happened in so long, it was really wonderful. New babies are good for making everyone genuinely happy!
this year i am overjoyed. my wife and i have been married over 30 years and our daughter gave birth on september 22nd to a beautiful boy. in the past i havent felt like scrooge but i just stayed home and let everyone else enjoy the season. however this year will be the best i will ever have.jackson is his name and he looks like me when i was about his age. i do have pictures that are at least 53.6 years
