Please don't start thinking you
are this and that because of
what or how your mother or
father is. You "may" get some
physical characteristics from
them but believe me, you are
an individual. Your thoughts
and actions are your own.
If you mom is a whiner, you
may tend to be one also, but
you don't have to be...that's
her trait, not yours.
Always be the best person
you can be and forget all about "traits". they can mess
up your thinking.
I'm quiet and somewhat passive like my father and prone to depression. BUT if I really believe in something strongly, I will not hesitate to announce it! Physical: legs, eyes, -dad Physical- booty, um, 38D mom. Thanks, I guess.
I am a mixture of my mom and dad. My dad bestowed upon me the moral of being true to yourself, and standing up for what you believe in. He taught me compassion because he was handicap and his illness and his death prepared me for the life I now have. He gave me the knowledge of being trustworthy and loyal, but also he taught me how to be a friend and to expect no less from those that I befriend.
My mom gave me strength, watching her as I grew up, prepared me for the wifely duties that I now have. She was a protector, a caretaker and a friend. Which she has engraved all this so deeply in my heart. She has always been a giver, and never asked for much in return, which is exactly what I do.
She did without so that her family would have, and I do that as well when needed. She stood her ground and didn't walk away without leaving her mark on the world, and that also, was engraved in my heart.
Both gave me the knowledge of what is expected in life and the blessings that go along with knowing who you are and what you deserve. I owe them a lot and I will never ever forget the impact they had on my life. It has made me who I am and for that I am truly blessed.
