I was a very active kid in Summer camp, and every year I would come back home with some sort of amphibian or reptile. I love animals and enjoy looking after them.
Blackie the dog, when I was a kid. He was the family dog.
Cocky the sulphur crested white cockatoo,
Tibby, the family cat,
An unnamed budgerigar we just called Budgie,
A puddy-tat named Puddy, which adopted us, the cat had babies, we gave one away and kept one which we named Paddy.
About half a dozen unnamed love birds. We started out with one, and it looked lonely so we got it a companion, then the littlies kept coming from nowhere!
Then there's the fluffy white rabbit, we called him "Rabbo" or "rab" for short.
Then the kids came home from the spring fair with a duckling which grew into a Mallard Duck which we named Daffy. It took over the back porch and swimming pool.
Now we just have a dog named Becky, who thinks she's human, except when it comes to other dogs.
p.s. I forgot about the tropical fish! We had an assortment of them from guppies to sucking catfish.
