Well, I think that true love is a strong emotion that someone feels for another person. Love isn't really something that can be described, it's felt by the heart and mind. It's an undescribeable (did I spell that right? haha) feeling & it is one of the best feelings in the world =).
Take this from an old lady who knows. True love is out there. It's in the way a mother love's her child unconditionally even if he/she is an ax murderer. It's the way a father teaches his daughter what love is and creates a standard that she uses when picking a suitable mate. It's in the way that man and woman stick together through thick and thin. Even during the times when they don't feel like they are truely and madly in love with one another. Many people are looking for falling stars and flashing lighgts. But that's not true love. True love is COMMITMENT. Nothing keeps you committed but love.

when you just see the person and they make you happy... its like when your literally are less happy when they arent around.... its when youd do anything for the person, including jumping in front of a life to save them. its when you would do anything they asked if it would make them happy even if they cant/dont offer u nething in return cause seeing them smile it reward enough, its when your moods rise and fall with the person, its when youd do anything just to get them to smile.its when your so happy that nothing else compares,its how you need to stand next to the person, cause 4 feet away just isnt ok, its like how youd rather spend 5 hrs in a car ride to see them for 3 hrs ,its craving just seeing the person, and then when you see her, its wanting her to feel amazing things even if you dont get to go... its being able to share anything with the person, cause its ok, they wont tell anyone and they will understand anything your going thru even if they dont, its the feeling the makes you realize that everyone else, including yourself, is lower than the person you love.
I would say its putting the needs or emotions of that person before yourself....in a painful situation, especially if it were necessary for you to both part.That person is the other half of you, that person completes you.....and you look at all in him/her....do not see the physical flaws as a stumbling block to any side of the relationship.....you share everything, talk about everything and you have no shame about your love.Its loving that person as much as you love and care for your own needs and body, and he/she will be the first consideration in your life.Whatever happens you cannot deviate from that persons...trust in you....love takes time to develop and even longer to uphold...
