Question: I'm the only one of my friends who likes these guys, which normally wouldn't matter, but I wanted some other opinions on these guys.

I love My Chemical Romance, but I've noticed the same thing with all of the answers to every question like your's. The people who say they don't like them are all saying the same thing: They have dark lyrics and their music is depressing. That's not true. All of the lyrics have an underlying meaning and that underlying meaning can be different for everybody, it doesn't have to be dark and hateful. They're interpreting wrong. And second, the people who say yay I like them, only really like the big singles that are more mainstream than the rest of their music. That's what I don't like about these debates about bands. There are so many posers out there answering, when they're not all that into what the band's/lyrics are about, but rather the beat. It's a hassle for true fans, but we have to deal with it. But I LOVE MCR. They don't make me feel depressed. I actually brighten up when I hear their music. ;)

I like their music, but I'm not much of a fan of their look. I like that guys voice though so yay, their music is good.

i say yay because i mean who cares if none of your friends like them. the whole point of life is to like what you want to like because you only get one childhood and one life you might as well enjoy it while you have it because once you die you dont get a second shot so if you like them, then like them... and i hate judgemental people that say ewww theyre emo and stuff like that... but i guess everybody has theyre own opinion about everything.... again i say yay because mcr is friken awsome... duh... lol... good luck on your quest to see what everybody else thinks about them.

I love them. they save lives and have beautiful music. i can really relate to their songs and they are very talented. plus, gerard has anice a*s. he is so hawt!
