*The gift can be very important if you can't be with the person, but I always prefer words.....a poem or a card or just a few sentences can be the best gift a person will ever receive! The truth will always be "in the eyes'! The eyes don't lie!!
The thing that shows me real love is spoiling me all year 'round, not just at Christmas time. :)

but his actions and words say alot too.
both really, i don't care how expensive the gift is, but if it shows that he put a lot of thought into it or proves that he knows me really by getting something i love, i'll be happy ^-^
It isn't the gift, but the gesture and the attitude of which the gift is given in. I would rather have a little gift given with a loving heart because he loves me, than a big gift given because he is either trying to win browny points, or trying to make amends for something he did or something he wants. I just want a gift from a loving person because he was thinking of me and wanted me to know it. Don't try to give me a gift that makes me think I am special if you really don't feel it. That is a lie
