Make friends, be yourself, have respect for your new country's` traditions and ways of life and remember that it is someone else`s country, to (miss-) quote a saying "When in America, do as the Americans` do". You will love living there.
You'll soon forget where you are once you get here in the USA since there are too many people here who either care or don't care for you.
