Anyone else having an unusual Thanksgiving dinner?!
Question: My dad and I are having T-bone steaks, garlic and butter mashed potatoes and salad instead of turkey and all that other stuff, because we are too cool for turkey, hahaha.

Most of our fare is pretty typical, except that my daughter did request a couscous salad with dates, raisins and pinenuts. Yummy.

No, we are having the traditional things. However, it has been odd in that my grandma left to go spend it with the rest of the "family" and my mom and I are here alone. The meal was delicious though.

Yes, I am making a small roast with vegetables in a cooking bag. When one is alone it does not pay to go all out with turkey, dressing, and pumpkin pies.
With the roast I will have some left overs for the rest of the weekend. With a turkey, I would have leftovers for weeks...I would have to freeze some of the turkey...who wants to face that in the freezer until 2008?
no we had the usual turkey stuffing and cake pie and vegatable soup!etc!
We have steaks around here too often to have it on holidays as well.
