Who does their Christmas shopping near or on Christmas Eve?!

Question: (Holding hand up) I plead guilty :o(

Answers: (Holding hand up) I plead guilty :o(

If I'm running that late, it will only be for the last minute little things like stocking stuffers and meal items.
I've been shopping since August - a little here, a little there. I'm just about finished now. I really try to avoid the Christmas shopping madness - it drives me crazy.

ME

Thats when I go... and get gift cards so I can quickly get the hell out of the mall before I get trampled in the crowd.

lol yea I do. Well in the last couple years I've tried doing most of the shopping for all the kids in the family early. But for my friends and husband, I usually get their gifts within the last three or four days before X-mas. Last year I snuck out of the house at 6 AM to get one last gift for my husband - and made it home just before my kids woke up.

I do. The prices really come down the closer it gets. And there's still many items left .

Those who value their time and money do it! Cos you would find hard to get away from the rush and in that you may not shop something extraordinary to cough the heavy bill !

I did that for so many years, but I just find it extremely stressful. I now make up a list of people who just get cards and others who will receive a gift and try and pay attention throughout the year to what people say they like or want and write it down beside their name. I occasionally ask now and then, very innocently, if they still like that certain item. I usually end up with 2 to 4 things by each persons name, so it helps out tremendously when buying gifts. Some family and friends just like to exchange goodies and not gifts so it helps to know what their favorite foods are, too.

ME! When I was pregnant with my daughter I was out shopping at 4pm and had her at 6pm on the 22nd of December now that's some serious procrastination

I try to do mine through out the year but there is always that last minute rush.

My parents do theirs on Christmas eve because that when my dad gets his Christmas bonus, it has become the tradition that on Christmas eve they all go to town, i don't go anymore as i cant stand the thought of dragging my son around in all that madness.
