I would do an appeal to ya and ask them what it violates.. Because from what im seeing there is nothing in their terms,(that i just read) that says you cant write something like that.. If they look at it when you appeal it they will give you the points back and repost the question..
I did have this happen to me and it was a question i really needed answered.. and i got a violation for it and i did just what i told you and they put it back on..
Thats what i would do..

Yes, I received one once for zero reason. I don't even recall what the question was or what I answered. But, I appealed and Y!A agreed with me. They returned my points and apologized for the inconvenience.
Yes. I got a violation for posting a link that answered a question. The question was where can I find a hotel in XYZ city.. I said go to XYZ site.. then got a violation. Had to laugh. Also go a violation when I responded to someones question about Korean swapmeets that I would swap 3 koreans for 2 japanese and a candy bar. Apparently Yahoo has no sense of humor.
