Isn't it hard to REALLY understand that you're going to die?!
Question: Its hard for me to truly understand death. I just cringe at the thought of dying.. I mean, have you really sat down and pondered on it? I look ahead after death and we'll never be able to live on earth again. Its depressing in itself. What will happen when everyone perishes? Its biblical as well.. I just try not to think about it and I live my life to the fullest.

No it's pretty easy for me, I just don't like thinking about it.

It's not hard to understand. It may be a little hard to accept sometimes. For example, I'm expecting my first baby and I hope to be in his life for a long time. This thought has crossed my mind allot recently, funny you should ask. Like if I die young would he be taken care of? If his father decided to remarry, would he get a good step mom? Would he have good step siblings? Would he be totally adored the way I would adore him? It is a hard reality sometimes.

Some young people treat very bad the elderly.
They think they aren't going to age. Most people in their 30's think they are the best of the world. An some people doesn't seem to be conscious that they are not going to be on earth forever.
I hate thinking about it. I mean you go from living and breathing to complete blackness and your just GONE ya know? I dont know if there is an afterlife- or is it just something we made up to make dying easier? U know- something to hold on to? Hope maybe? One minute u r here and the next gone. Does everyone forget u were ever here? Its a scary thing to think about

I am content in the certain knowledge that after death there is a void, nothing! Just like sleeping without any dreams.
If Christians really believe in their faith which teaches that God was here on earth in the guise of his own Son, and he died on the cross to pay for all our sins, so they must go to heaven! Then they should also be content.
Any one like Muslims or others that base their beliefs on the Old Testament must have a few worries?
