Who Is The Best Teacher You Have Ever Had?!

Question: Why was he or she the best? Opinions?

Mr. Carangelo--seventh to ninth grades.

He was my choir and typing teacher. He and his wife didn't have any kids of their own, so his students were his kids. :) He was very caring, loved every one of the kids he taught, spoiled every one of us, was always there for us. He had this fishing rod he pretended he was going to hit the kids with and he chased them around the choir room with it! Many of the kids hid it from him and he would chase them until they gave it back. He would always have candy in the teachers part of the choir room (since he knew I have diabetes, he got sugar free candy especially for me). He was an opera singer and taught us the correct way to sing--from the stomach, not the lungs.

I remember my dad had a heart attack and heart surgery while I was there. He was always there to listen when I needed someone to talk to and never put any of us kids down.

He had this dog named Beethoven that was blind and deaf. The dog couldn't be left alone and when his wife would be gone for a few days, he would defy the principle and bring the dog into the school and classroom! Everyone loved the dog, and Mr. Carangelo. I was so sad when I heard that he passed away a few years ago. :( His wife had passed on before him, then his dog fell down the stairs and died, and then he died. He was a legend in that middle school for many years and anyone who had him as a teacher loved him. :)

Mrs. Vandevnder. 1st grade.

she was the best.

This one teacher at the university. He taught me vectorial calculus and functions. He was the best because he was so dedicated and caring with his students. Even though I got a C because the class was really difficult, I loved him.

My middle and high school band directors. They both fostered and helped me to develop an outgoing personality and a lifelong love of music!

People, please save the music. It really helps those who fully embrace it.
