Have You Been Lost While Driving?!

Question: If so, how did you survive it? I was lost for two hours a few years ago. Opinions?

I was lost for 2 hours--I was coming home from my friend's house and didn't know the area very well and it started to snow--like a blizzard and I got SOOO lost and was probably going in circles---I could not find a gas station or anywhere (I hit a country road or something) and finally I found the way. I was literally crying!!

Just go to the major cites get on the high way see where your going

TAKE AN EXIT AND GET GAS!!!

and hey if your lost it could be kind of neat...

A few times.

i get lost in my house

Yes I have. I stopped and got my map out.
That was pre-GPS.

thats why i dont drive

Yes. I simply managed to find my way home after 12 hours.

Im a guy so of course i've been lost before. I had to buy a map at a gas station.

Never lost but sidetracked once in a while for a few minutes.

Yes. It happens. Especially when given bad (lame) directions.

when i was a baby.... and my mom was taking us home to our rock from the hospital.... i was lost cause like i didint know

no..
i always use a map

yea lol i was so scared so i called my parents to tell me how to get out of where i was it took me about 45 to 50 min to finally figure out where i was again. You should get a GPS system they really help out

I have a GPS in my car, maps, or sometimes go to mini bars and ask a person wear is _____________ or just go to some local gas station... That's what I do whenever I'm lost

im not old enough to drive yet..
but i got lost for 2 hrs 2 when I was little, my mom was driving me home through a snow storm and made a wrong turn

i was lost for a while...........but now i'm found.

So often that it's treated as a running joke in the family. Usually I just drive till I see the right signs.

Yes, but I have maps, plus I live in Southern Maine, if you get lost just head East until you hit the ocean(then you've gone too far). Try New Hampshire sometime, they have some law against having street signs and like to alternate the straight and turn lanes with every intersection.

yes, in chicago. had a family friend's grandmother who grew up there give me street by street directions to get out

I don't like to use the term "Lost".

I prefer to think of it as experiencing alternative routes.

Yes definitely and I called my boyfriend for over the phone directions after crying for a while!
