OMG Sara! Your spider story completely freaked me out - we lived similar situations! lol
One night my friend and I came home late and had to walk through some trees to get to the door. I felt a chill suddenly and told her we should go around. THANK GOD we did because once we looked back there was a HUGE spider web glistening in the moonlight with a HUGE spider in the middle of it. (I am not kidding this spider had to be the size of a golf ball. Ewwww!!) We couldn't see it coming from the other way due to the darkness. We got a broom and I made my gf kill it! lol I was so freaked out!!
The next morning I get in my car to go to work and I keep feeling something on my leg, but when I looked I didn't see anything. I feel it again and look down and I SWEAR it was the EXACT same spider (same exact coloring and all) in miniature size. I think we killed it's mother and it was out for revenge! I jumped out of the car and completely FREAKED out! Screaming ... running around ... the entire neighborhood came running outside. Yea ... that was a little embarrassing.
Anyhow ... like you ... to this day I am a complete arachnophobic. I make my 8 year old kill all the spiders ... some mom , huh? lol
May we NEVER come in such close contact with large spiders again!

I have a terrible fear of snakes think its called Ophidiophobia....sheesh..just thinking about it gives me cold chills! :-)
i have a phobia of empty swimming pools... it is something to do with the depth of them and the empty space, like i think of them as empty graves
