I did... Nothing so noble as sparing anyone's feelings. I was being a selfish pr**k. It was the worst g**dammed feeling I've ever had in this world, and I won't do it again.

Well, I havent lied to hy husband in a long time-but the other day I lied to him and told him I had some money saved up to buy his Playstation 3.
I have no idea why I did that. I'am going to have it for him when he returns from deployment-but I could have just kept my mouth shut instead of lying.
Lying is a Sin, no matter what you are lying about. Honesty pays off well in the long run. So I say stick to it. Tell the truth at all times-and you wont have to deal with nonsense later-because what goes around-really comes back around.

Oh yeah I think everyone does, sometimes the truth hurts and they'd be better off not knowing. While honesty is important it's not always neccessary.

I hate lying ,I always believe that honesty is the best policy but a couple of times I've withheld a few facts to save hurting them.If not saying the words is lying, then I'm guilty,but lying to me is telling an untruth so if I haven't told an untruth I don't think I've lied.In a serious situation I would have to tell all but if it's a trivial matter keeping quiet can do more good in my opinion.
